Contact lenses can provide freedom from glasses for all sorts of occasions. Whether for daily wear, sports, social occasions or fashion there are a number of lenses to suit most needs. New advances in contact lenses mean that nearly all prescriptions can be covered even if you normally wear varifocals or reading spectacles. Newer contact lens materials are more comfortable and wettable than ever before so even if you have ever been unsuitable for contact lens before there may be a new lens to suit you.

Daily Contact Lenses

These are single use lenses that are disposed of after one use. They are very easy to use and require no cleaning or nightly storage of the lens therefore reducing the risk of contact lens related eye infections. Varifocal and toric contact lenses are now available in daily form.

Monthly and Two Weekly Lenses

These lenses must be cleaned daily and stored in fresh solution overnight. They need to be disposed of every 14 or 30 days depending on the lens type. Multifocal and bifocal lenses are also available.
